  Travel tips for the summer of 2013

  If you have never travelled in Europe, then the 2013 summer could be the moment.

  The left side (of Sena)  - or the southern one – has an atmosphere more intimate and

bohemian than the right one, that is more arrogant.

  The axes east – west from Châtelet to Arc de Triomphe, by Rue de Rivoli and Champs –

  Élysées is the main thoroughfare for visiting the sights and shopping, on the rights side of Sena. 

  The city is divided in 20 districts. The last two numerous of the Parisian mail codes, indicate the district. For further information you have to buy the brochure “Plan de Paris” or to study the city map.

  Carté Musées et Monuments (the licence for Museums and Monuments) offer you an unlimited access in over 65 museums and monuments during a period of1, 3 or 5 consecutive days and the price is of 15,3 or 40 Euro.

  Because the majority of Parisian museums visit costs 4-6 Euro, you have to be a very serious museum visitor in order to make that worth its price. What you have to know is that the licence has an exceptional bonus: if you show it, you have not to stand in line for visit.

  Always it is recommended to make an early booking for apartments, homes, hotels if you plan to spend your vacation in Paris, especially by the end of spring, in summer or in autumn.

  But let’s recognize, even if we are interested to visit Louvre, Eiffel Tour and all the other sites, a visit to Paris is not fulfilled if we do not meet its famous gastronomy. No matter if you  will sink up to your elbows in white truffles at Alain Ducasse or you simply discover the sausage stuffed with meat and pistachios (poor man's caviar), at a classical corner bistro, you will find out that here the food is an obsession and an art and in the same time, a endless topic of debates.
